Two Children’s ID and safety franchises named to top new franchises list

The Top 100 list, published in the Fall 2006 issue, includes the low-cost Guard-A-Kid franchise nominated by Franchise Pick affiliate FranBest.Com. The Guard-A-Kid franchise program provides a complete line of unique child safety and educational products and a state of the art child ID package parents can use in an emergency. Home- based or retail kiosk options available. According to founder Hossein Kasmai, the franchise fee of $19,900 covers almost everything a franchisee needs to start the business. Founded in 2005, Guard-A-Kid has already sold over 55 franchises.

Ident-A-Kid Services of America, Inc. was also named to the 100 Top New Franchises list. Ident-A-Kid franchisees work from home-based offices and provide ID cards to parents through schools and other locations. The cost of the franchise is $24,900 and includes an exclusive territory, equipment, supplies software, inventory and training. Ident-A-Kid Services of America, Inc. was founded in 2000, and has 220 franchises.
