Chyten Educational Services is a brand new tutoring and test preparation franchise that is preparing, as I write this, for its first training session with its first franchise owners. Founder and CEO Neil Chyten gave me a rushed interview (posted at Top New Franchises) as he was getting ready for “class.”
His “students” are the first four franchisees who will be opening the first Chyten Educational Services franchise locations in Mt. Kisco, NY, Franklin, MA, Framingham, MA, and Gaithersburg, MD.
Chyten believes that they could open a thousand-plus centers in the next few years. While this statement could be categorized as “delusional” for most start-up franchisors, I’d rate it as “ambitious” when it comes to Chyten Educational Services. Why? Because Chyten has formed a unique partnership with a company that knows how to sell, open and service franchises at a rapid clip: Minuteman Press. Through its subsidiary Ultra Franchising, Inc., Minuteman Press is providing Chyten with its vast franchising experience, and deploying its nationwide sales and service network to create what could be unprecedented growth for a new franchise program.
Anyone who has seen the Minuteman Press franchise sales team at work at the franchise shows will not doubt that Chyten could soon be one of the industry’s fastest growing new chains.
