Hi,
I noticed other people in the post above offering to help the Pure clients left hanging out there also. I feel for these people in what has happened. I have been helping people lose weight with the Take Shape for Life program featuring the Medifast meals since my weight loss. I was not interested in and frankly disgusted with the overwhelming number of programs out there when I was considered a program. I didn’t care anymore till my doctor gave me a wake up call by reminding me that my time here was growing short because of my weight. He recommended the TSFL program which has been clinically proven and around for 26 years. Needless to say I found this comforting and compelling. I made a commitment to do the program with his guidance thinking that this might be my last chance. I started at 316 pounds on high blood pressure and cholesterol medication and I had to use a cane sometimes to walk. Thirteen months later I had lost 130+ pounds and was off of the cane and medications. I started helping the doctor with his support group meetings which I found very rewarding. He encouraged me to start helping others to get healthy starting with their weight and I became a Health Coach with Take Shape for Life. This is what I do now. I get really upset when some of these “weight loss” companies are focused on the almighty dollar and could not give a squat about their clients let alone their employees. I have not found this with TSFL in all of my dealings with them. Their core mission is to get America healthy and I am honored to be a part of that mission. A friend of mine had worked for LA Weight Loss and when they were out sick, probably because they had them managing two locations, they were replaced like an old flower arrangement. I was not aware that the Pure Weight Loss centers were closing until recently and started reaching out to help these people also, managers and clients alike. I went through 8 doctors before the one that helped me, more like saved my life, and it was by searching and reading on the internet that did it. I will never forget that. This is why I reach out to help and give back. I know what it is like to be obese and have the rug pulled from under you time and again. _________________________________
