FranchisePick.Com to Appear on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
(FranchisePick.Com) Like many things in the Blogosphere, it started innocently enough but quickly spiraled out of control.
It started with an innocent post about the Mary Kay business opportunity and the enthusiastic Mary Kay salespeople (KayBots).
It then led to the discovery of an angry anti-Mary Kay faction called the Pink Truthers (Are “Pink Truthers” Just Lazy Whiners?)
and their angry anti-Mary Kay website.
Then there appeared a group so angry and uncouth that they were banned from the Anti-Mary Kay group, banished to the hinterlands beyond the reach of mirrors or cosmetics. This rag-tag bunch, headed by a man-boob obsessed leader known as DUH, founded her own site: Some Called Me DUH!
So far we have:

I have put out a call for someone to create an anti-Duh site, and someone to create a site opposing that one, and another opposing that one… Imagine it!
And once we reach 100 sites, each one criticizing the one before it, I will invite each of the site founders to stand with me on my appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, with a large banner showing Mary Kay Whatsername in the back with a moustache and horns drawn on it and we will be famous.
I will call you all The Thundering Hundred, I will say I owe it all to you… and I will mean it.

Sean, you are a hoot, however, I feel if you are going to come play in our estrogene pool, you would be better off with some first hand experience. We actually do have male consulants (not many but some), you could do a study on being a man in the woman’s world and report with actual hands on experience as far as how the Company works.

I have also asked our cosmetic experts for their take on this madness. Every time I’m cruising the b5 Beauty Channel I think about networking with them, but I get so excited writing down fashion and makeup tips I forget all about it.
MKBiz: Funny you mention me getting involved with MK. I happen to be in licensing negotiations with Mary Kay. They want me to be the spokesperson and model for their new male cosmetic line and direct sales program (Simply called SEAN!). Pink Hummers for top performers… the works. But this is confidential so keep it to yourself.
Good luck with your chores. They don’t involve rearranging huge quantities of unsold Mary Kay Cosmetics in your garage, do they? (Just kidding, just kidding…)

And here I thought you were really going to be on The Daily Show. You got me excited for nothing. Although–I would like to be on The Colbert Report. That would be fun. Actually–can you imagine Colbert talking about and interviewing all of the MK people. It would be hilarious!

Shannon I COULD be on The Daily Show with a little help. We just need some neo-bots to start a site slamming the past-bots, and then the cyber-bots to do a site criticizing the neo-bots, etc. (I’d be happy with The Colbert Report, but I’d have to cop some perky pills from the Kaybots to stay up that late.)
Once we all join together on stage at Comedy Central, we could put aside our differences, form an armed alliance with our sistas at AVON, Creative Memories & Pampered Chef, and crush those evil Tupperware and HerbaLife reps before they knew what hit’m. Their downlines will be ours! Who’s with me??!!
