Wow! I thought franchise owners did background checks before giving people a store and expecting them to manage the overall brand!
This is amazing. Do you think Subway has seen a decline in people wanting to own a franchise so this slipped through the cracks?

I’m not sure how they missed this one. There are places on the form for criminal offenses, arrests, etc. I’m sure someone heard about it. From what I hear, Subway is usually pretty diligent.
I don’t think they’re hurting for franchisees. Domestically they added about 900 new franchisees last year.
