There’s something invigorating about searching for the next great franchise concept. Somewhat in response to the high-profile failings of the Entrepreneur franchise lists, I decided to create a competition for Top New Franchise based initially on nominations and votes from the franchisees & customers themselves. You can see it at TopNewFranchises.Com.
Anyone can nominate their pick for the Top New Franchise, and all nominees are able to receive “votes,” in the form of customer, franchisee and employee endorsements, free of charge. It is the only franchise recognition program that allows franchise owners and customers to share their enthusiasm for their favorite franchise.
Despite our intentionally soft opening, with no advertising for the site and little fanfare, we began receiving nominations and votes faster than we could list the companies. By the end of the first full week we received 20 nominations and hundreds of votes.
